The Taiyo Phone Company (Pvt) Ltd is another stepping stone of the Taiyo Group of Companies launched in October 2003. The journey as Taiyo Phone Company began as a Franchise Dealer for Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd handling Customer Care and Sub Dealer Sales within the Ratmalana Area. Later, the Online Bill Payments facility was introduced to our Dealer office.
In 2005, with the introduction of Mobitel's Territory system, Taiyo Phone Company was appointed as an Authorized Dealer for SIM cards, Top‐Up Cards and Reload distribution in the areas of Moratuwa, Katubedda, Angulana, Ratmalana, Dehiwala and Mount Lavinia. The area network was then further extended to Kohuwala, Pepiliyana, Raththanapitya and Boralesgamuwa.
